Salam to all who are reading my blog. This is my first time writing to share with those who are in the same boat with me. I am in my third year of my Phd journey and I always pray to ALLAH to give me guidance and patience for me to finish my journey. Before I decided to step in this journey, I told myself, once I step in, I cannot turn back, so Lin either you like it or not, you have to finish it.......INSHAALLAH......But ALHAMDULILLAH, I am still surviving. So for those out there who are struggling with the same journey, don't give up, always pray to ALLAH and INSYAALLAH he will give you the guidance, support and energy. The most beautiful thing about my journey is that I am doing it together with my husband. We have been studying together since we met in Lincoln, USA (masa study kat US dulu) when both of us were doing my degree. Then when we got married and had a baby one year after our marriage, I joined my hubby in Lincoln. At that time, he was doing his master in architecture there. I wanted to continue my master as well at that time, but due to bureaucracy, red tapes and conditions that I faced, I decided to just take my unpaid leave and enjoy my stay there and took care of our baby. I got my master in 1997 and my hubby got his master in 1992. So just imagine almost 14 years for me and 19 years after leaving the college, we decided to go back to school and do our PhD. Just imagine, engine lama nak start balik....okay I think I better stop here and continue INSYAALLAH tomorrow....
